About the Role8/6 FIFO Roster via PerthVivien ProjectReporting to the Project ManagerYour key responsibilities in this role include:Drive process improvement initiatives enhancing HSE performanceManage and/or facilitate the investigation process of serious incidents, developing strategies to effectively resolve workplace hazards, and implementing measures to proactively reduce injuries through the HSE teamManage and drive effective incident investigation processOversee project corrective action requirements associated with internal and external audits, incidents, inspections and other proactive or reactive processesManage the effective communication, implementation and operation of new or updated systems, policies, standard, procedures, etc. at domestic projects; andEnsure site specific procedures are appropriate and do not introduce unplanned risks and ensure RUC document control and document management requirements are met for all site-specific procedures or other HSE related documentation.The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:5+ years HSE management experience in the resource sector (Underground Mining);Tertiary qualifications in WHS (e.g. Diploma of Work Health and Safety or equivalent);ICAM Lead Auditor training;Strong knowledge of health and safety standards, legislation and risk management principles;Strong interpersonal skills; andAbility to build rapport with both corporate and site personnel.What We OfferIncome protection InsurancePro-rata long service leave after 5 years of employmentAccess to discounted health insurance plans About RUC MiningPart of the Global Murray & Roberts Group, RUC Mining Contractors are an underground-based mining contractor with nearly 50 years of projects in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
