Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining underground mining plant equipment - Jumbo’s, Boggers, Graders and Loaders
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting of mechanical faults
  • Dismantle and assemble machine parts, engines and replace worn out parts
  • Conduct routine inspections and schedule maintenance of plant equipment
  • Perform routine lubrication of machine parts, tuning of engine and ensure the machines are working to site compliance
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance plan
  • Updating maintenance log books

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 or higher in Diesel Mechanic, Mobile Plant Technology,
  • Mechanical trade or Australian Recognised Trade Cert
  • Strong knowledge in pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence
  • Able to provide National Police clearance (within 6 months of commencement)
  • Working at Heights
  • Provide First Aid
