Tanami Shaft Lining & Equipping Project – Trainer and AssessorWork Location: The Tanami mine is an underground gold mine in the Northern Territory of Australia. It is the second-largest underground gold mining operation in the country. The site is situated at a distance of 563km north-west of Alice Springs and 949km south-west of DarwinThe Project comprises a new 5.5m diameter concrete lined vertical production shaft equipped with fixed steel guides to a depth of 1,460 meters below surface and the associated shaft and surface infrastructureRoster: 15 days on/ 13 days off. FIFO from Capital Cities Key accountabilities will include:Organise training programmes for employees as required, this may involve the utilisation of external providers or your own skills and expertise.Delivery of Mobile Plant/Maintenance Training and AssessingFacilitation of classroom-based training and onboarding new starters.Ensure existing employees and contractors are appropriately trained for the tasks that they are required to undertake and ensure compliance with RUC training programmes and initiatives and statutory requirements as per the applicable legislation and standards.Provide education / training regarding health, safety and training management systems to all managers, supervisors, employees and contractorsManage the Critical Risk Management (CRM) program and ensure that monthly targets and objectives are achieved.Track proposed and emerging safety and health legislation and regulatory requirements and provide reviews to management.Manage the Site Activity Compliance Implementation Schedule requirements and review on a monthly basis. Qualifications and skills required:Certificate IV in OH&S or equivalent.Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).Current C Class License (HR Preferable but not essential)High Risk Work Licenses for DG, LF, WPCurrent National Units of Competency desirableSenior First Aid Certificate.Working at HeightsIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office suiteGood understanding of Mining Legislation and Workplace Health and Safety.Experience in investigation process and analysis. RUC are committed to providing a work environment in which everyone is included, respected and treated with fairness.
